Rooted in Wine is a locally owned wine bar and garden created by J and Renata, a North Carolina couple who brought their shared passions together after decades of working in different fields. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, the space blends Renata’s love of plants and her beautifully tended wine garden with J’s lifelong experience in wine, offering a welcoming place to explore new bottles and enjoy wines by the glass.
With more than 200 curated retail selections and a rotating mix of local cheeses, jams, honey, art, and pottery, Rooted in Wine is a community-centered spot to unwind, discover, and feel right at home.

Join us for a wine tasting
Wine Tasting - Old World vs. New World: Wednesday, April 8
Join us at Rooted in Wine for our monthly wine tasting series. On Wednesday, April 8, we will host an old world vs. new world tasting featuring the same varietals side-by-side grown in different parts of the world.
Enjoy 6 curated pours for $25 per person, with the flexibility to drop in anytime between 4:30–6:30 PM. The tasting will conclude around 7 PM.

Join us at Rooted in Wine for our monthly wine tasting series. On Thursday, April 16, we will try wines from the North Coast of California, featuring small production and unique varietals.
